Chayet & Danzo, LLC is proud to announce that Managing Partner and founder Marco Chayet has been selected to serve as the 6th Congressional District Commissioner for the Supreme Court Nominating Commission. The appointment by Governor Jared Polis was announced on September 7, 2021, with the support of Attorney General Phil Weiser and Chief Justice Brian Boatright of the Supreme Court.
The Supreme Court Nominating Commission is composed of one citizen from each of Colorado’s seven congressional district admitted to practice law in Colorado and a second state resident that is not a licensed attorney.
Members of this commission are responsible for recommending candidates to serve as justices on both the Supreme Court and the Court of Appeals. Chief Justice Boatright of the Supreme Court serves as chairperson of the Commission.
