Biography

Zachary Cornell joined Chayet & Danzo in 2021.

Mr. Cornell graduated from the University of Colorado Law School in 2021 and was admitted to the Colorado Bar in the fall of that year. In law school, Mr. Cornell was active in the Trust & Estates Section of the Colorado Bar and assisted the 17th Judicial District in planning its annual Senior Law Day. During law school, Mr. Cornell clerked for several firms, where he gained experience in estate planning, elder law, real estate law, and civil litigation. He also externed for the United States Air Force Judge Advocate General's Corps at the Air Force Academy, where he primarily worked on employment law matters. Mr. Cornell received both his Bachelor of Arts degree in 2014 and a Master of Arts in Real Estate from the University of Denver. Prior to law school, Mr. Cornell worked as a financial analyst and commercial broker at a national brokerage firm in Denver.

Mr. Cornell was born and raised in Denver and attended Regis Jesuit High School. In his spare time, he enjoys supporting all of Colorado's professional sports teams, along with CU, DU, and the Air Force Academy. He also has a passion for live music, having seen over 100 concerts throughout the world, and spending time with his golden retriever, Jake.
