After careful review of the COVID-19 environment, the law firm of Chayet & Danzo, LLC, will be conducting in-person appointments in our offices on a limited basis and with strict social distancing protocols.

During this time, our team will continue to diligently work remotely on all client matters and will maintain communication through email, telephone, and video conferencing. Our main office number, (303) 355-8500 will continue to be answered during our normal business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday – Thursday and 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Fridays.

This decision to have limited appointments in-office while following strict social distancing protocols is in the best interest and health of our team, clients and community.

Michael LaVigne joined Chayet & Danzo in early 2017 following a two-year term as law clerk to the Chief Probate Judge and Chief Domestic Judge in Colorado's 18th Judicial District. Mr. LaVigne graduated from the University of Colorado Law School in 2014 and was admitted to the Colorado Bar in the fall of that year.  In law school, Mr. LaVigne was a board member, production editor, and published author on the University of Colorado Law Review. He clerked for several organizations during school, including Hogan Lovells, Davis & Ceriani, and the FCC, where he gained experience in the areas of securities law, insurance defense, and communications law. Mr. LaVigne received his undergraduate degree from Columbia College in New York City. He is a member of the Colorado Bar Association and Arapahoe Bar Association.

Prior to law school, Mr. LaVigne enjoyed a successful career as a music publicist at the boutique PR firm Shore Fire Media in Brooklyn, NY, where he worked with artists including Bruce Springsteen, Elvis Costello, Norah Jones, and Wynton Marsalis.

In his spare time Mr. LaVigne enjoys skiing, hiking, camping, cooking, and Denver's vibrant restaurant scene. He lives in downtown Denver with his wife Laura.
