Chayet & Danzo, LLC, a Denver elder law and estate planning firm, is pleased to announce that it is accepting applications for their Chayet & Danzo, LLC., And www.ColoradoElderLaw.com 2018 College and Graduate School Scholarship Essay Contest. The winner will receive a $1,000 stipend for use toward his or her college tuition and/or fees.

Essay topic:

Propose an innovative new service, technology, change in laws or protections or a combination of the previous, that will positively alter the day-to-day life of incapacitated or disabled adults. Widespread adoption of this innovation throughout the USA would improve and help this segment of our population at least 10 years from now and into perpetuity.

Authors are encouraged to write this essay in your preferred style. In other words, if it is technical, legal, creative or narrative in style, all manners of writing style will be judged with equal weight.

Criteria: This scholarship is open to students in undergraduate or graduate studies currently enrolled (as of September 2018) in a U.S. college or university and pursuing a degree and/or career.

Format: Please prepare a typed, double-spaced essay of no more than 10 pages with a minimum word count of 500 (this does not include the index, bibliography or footnotes).

Author biography: The author should submit a short bio about themselves. (50 - 250 words in entry form below).

Submission deadline: September 30, 2018

Review of applications and selection of winner: The team at Chayet & Danzo, LLC, and ColoradoElderLaw.com will review all submissions. The winner will be selected and notified in October 2018 and the scholarship will be awarded by November 2018.
